The FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) Networks are essential to enable broadband connections and applications with high demand for bandwidth. These networks are the "future proof" regarding the technological development.

Having this in mind, TKT has developed a set of Portuguese manufacturing products that being on the edge of the network, where the provision of services are made, play an important role in the implementation and operation of fiber networks: Fiber Optics General Splitters (FOGS), Optical Distribution Points (ODP) and Optical Sockets.

Other solutions developed by TKT are the universal clamp and the telephone socket.

Primary Multi-operator ODP 12/24 FO and Secondary 24/48 FO

The Multi-Operator Optical Distribution Point (MODP) are an infrastructure for GPON networks (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) with FTTH topology. It allows the connection between the distribution network and the customer, connecting the cable operators with the fiber optic cables in buildings. Its installation is designated to the inside of buildings, where the primary MODP is the operator module and the secondary MODPis the Customer’s Module. The set of Primary and Secondary FOGS work as a complete MODP system. Its modularity allows you to attach the Secondary MODP to several Primary MODP, including from other operators.

Each MODP, both primary and secondary, consists of two separated compartments by a panel that supports SC adapters, and each compartment has an independent sealing system, with the possibility to remove the doors for better handling.

ODP 24 FO – Outdoor

The ODP 24 FO (Optical Distribution Point) is an infrastructure designed to GPON networks with FTTH and FTTB topology. It allows the connection between the distribution network and customer, connecting the operator cables to the building optical fiber cables, and its installation may be indoors or outdoors.

Wall Optical Socket

The optical sockets are specifically developed to be placed near or within the subscriber premises. The socket is suitable for FTTH applications in both multi-family housing units, as in single-family homes. They provide an interface between the installed network and customers’ device (ONT). The socked is designed to be easily installed and its compact design makes it suitable for use at home.

The socket allows the placement of mergers and connectors.

Universal Clamp

The Universal Clamp is intended for GPON and copper networks. It enables the fixation, in a single point, of distribution circular drop cables for customer connection, up to four cables from 3 to 5 mm per clamp. With this solution is reduced to ¼ the number of clamping jaws against the points required for a single drop cable.

Telephone Socket with Gel

Designed to be used as a termination or transition socket, the telephone socket features a compact design, so it can be applied at customer sites with reduced visual impact. It allows the entry of cables on the left and right sides, in order to adapt to different installation requirements.
